After several rumors, realme has confirmed that it will launch a flagship phone with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The latest reports claim that it will be called realme X2 Pro. Apart from the flagship processor, it will also come with a 90Hz display.
The alleged realme X2 Pro with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor was confirmed by realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase on Weibo. As per him, the phone is codenamed the Super Warrior. While the company’s product director Wang Wei confirmed that the phone would come with a 90Hz display refresh rate. Recently he has also confirmed that it will be a 4G phone.
The screenshot Wei shared on Weibo also shows NFC support and confirms Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution as well as a 20:9 aspect ratio for the phone’s screen. It should be an AMOLED panel with support for an in-display fingerprint scanner just like previous realme X series phones. However, the display size has not been revealed.
Apart from these reports, there isn’t any other detail of the phone is available as of now. We expect that it could come with improved cameras too. Also, it could retain the same 30W fast charging as the realme X2.
To recall, the company has introduced the realme X2 smartphone with Snapdragon 730G processor, 64MP quad cameras, and 30W fast charging support in China a few days back. This phone will launch in India as realme XT 730G in December. After that, we can expect the launch of realme X2 Pro in India.
